We Miss you, Dear Dog: Goodbye to our Golden Girl, Italia.

Today marks the year anniversary of losing our beloved Italia. We continue to miss her and take comfort in the memory of the unconditional love and friendship she gave us. May her Memory Be Eternal!

Days of Part-Time Sunshine

img_9516She was my 10.5-year-old furry best girl. She moved a little slower, barked less, listened harder, chased less, and paced more, especially when given a bone that she carried, guarded, hid, found, savored, and so on. She snored intensely, like a drunken crew of grandpas dreaming of fishing trips.  Although she played less, she still wagged the feathers of her perfectly fluffy and pristine tail everyday.  More than any of that, our glory girl loved effortlessly, without limits.

Whoa!  There certainly are a lot of retail events that keep materializing for the Christmas season shopper. The biggest ones I’m aware of are Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving), Cyber Monday (the Monday after Thanksgiving), and Green Monday (a couple Mondays before Christmas).  Of these three, Black Friday is the one that draws hordes of customers into actual stores.  The others are online shopping days which are perfect for me, a revolutionized .com-customer.
