Slowing Down During the Coronavirus Pandemic – Driving 37 in a 45 MPH Zone

No matter what cute pair of heels, flip flops, or stylish boots I wear, I admit to having a heavy driver’s foot.

Although I regret the speeding tickets I’ve been issued over the past thirty years, I still regress and end up pushing the pedal past the speed limit. I am usually in a hurry, running late, and rushing around. This Speedy Gonazalez persona isn’t good for anyone.

Cheers to Festiveness! Bah Humbug to Stressfulness.

Yesterday, began gently without an alarm clock. It was the first of a twelve day winter break from teaching and school. My teenagers and husband weren’t home, so I treated myself to some extra relaxation with one of the many to-be-read books on my nightstand. The sunshine beamed through the blinds targeting my dogs who basked in the extra brightness, snoring in warm-and-fuzzy harmony
