In observance of Veterans Day, 2016, I’d like to thank you and your loved ones who have served this magnificent country of ours.
My father, Frank Snyder, God rest his soul, was in the army during the tail end of the Korean War. He was stationed in England as a PFC who drove a half track. I have loved the creation of Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts Gang ever since I can remember. Growing up in the 70’s, I was a ready-made fan of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, and the rest of the gang. Before I was old enough to even read the comic strip, I was delighted by the holiday television specials. My favorite has always been It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
